Why Aren’t You Hearing Back After Applying? A Must Read For Job Seekers!

5 Reasons Why You Never Hear Back After Applying For A Job

To My Fellow College Grads & General Job Seekers:

I found this article super helpful! Some experts say that you need to apply to at least 400 jobs right out of school to get a good amount of offers back. After applying to what feels like millions of jobs, it can be pretty discouraging when you don’t hear back from even half of the recruiters or hiring managers. Feeling Accomplished

My younger sister and I took a trip to Texas for a family event. While we were there we decided to take a tour of the Fairview, TX WFM Store.

Yesterday at work I was given an award on behalf of my department. I have been working with Whole Foods Market for 4 months now as a member of the Floral Department.

Over Mother’s Day our Department, Produce, broke a sales record that hasn’t been touched in 5 years!

At our store meeting in front of all of the team members and the management, my Department Team Leaders gave me the Outstanding Customer Service Award. I was so shocked that after only 4 months with the company I would be able to be recognized with such an award.

Perhaps Whole Foods Market has experienced the GLO?

Update: GLO GIVES BACK 2012

This weekend I participated in the CSUEB Relay For Life!

It was one of the most inspirational events and it was to touching to see how many students got together to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. I received a t-shirt for raising over $100 on my own. I am still fundraising until the end of May, so if you can, donate!
